Clear pricing, no surprises
You should know what a telehealth assessment costs before you commit to anything. Here is how our packages work, how to choose the right one, and exactly what is — and is not — included.
Find the right starting point
Every option is delivered entirely by telehealth, by a real Australian team of psychologists and psychiatrists. From an initial psychologist-led assessment through to a comprehensive report and ongoing treatment reviews with your psychiatrist and GP, there’s a sensible place to start wherever you are in Australia. Not sure which one fits? Begin with the initial assessment and we’ll help you decide from there.

- Short online intake to understand your situation
- Validated ADHD screening questionnaires
- A brief telehealth consult to talk through your results
- A clear recommendation on the most appropriate next step

Treatment & Review (Ongoing Care)
For people already diagnosed, or with more complex needs — ongoing telehealth treatment and review with your psychiatrist, in shared care with your GP. Where detailed documentation is needed for school, university or work, this also covers comprehensive, referral-ready reporting.
- Follow-up telehealth reviews with your psychiatrist
- Treatment plan management, including medication where clinically appropriate
- Shared care and ongoing coordination with your GP
- A detailed written report where comprehensive documentation is needed
- Practical recommendations for home, study or work
- Referral-ready documentation for onward care where needed
Medicare or private health rebates may be available depending on your circumstances and provider — this varies from person to person and is never guaranteed. A GP referral is usually needed to see a psychiatrist with a Medicare rebate; we will guide you, and your GP can advise what applies to you. Treatment and medication decisions are always made by your psychiatrist after a proper assessment, and ADHD-medicine prescribing is regulated in Australia. [Rebate details placeholder — confirm with a qualified clinician before publishing.]
Every service is delivered by telehealth by an Australian team of psychologists and psychiatrists, in shared care with your GP. We will help you understand the most appropriate starting point — and not everyone who is assessed will meet the criteria for ADHD.
Yes, Medicare can help with the cost
In Australia this kind of care is funded through Medicare — not private health insurers. With a GP referral, Medicare rebates can lower what you pay for assessment, diagnosis and treatment. Here’s how it works, in plain English.
Start with your GP
A GP referral is what lets you claim a Medicare rebate when you see a psychiatrist. Separately, a GP Mental Health Treatment Plan can unlock Medicare rebates for psychology sessions. We tell you exactly what to ask your GP for.
Medicare pays a rebate
When a rebate applies, you pay for your appointment and Medicare refunds part of the fee back to your bank account — usually within a few days. How much depends on the type and length of the appointment.
You pay the “gap”
Your out-of-pocket cost is simply the appointment fee minus the Medicare rebate. Whatever is left over is the “gap”. We are upfront about every fee before you book, so there are no surprises.
$98.95
Medicare rebate per session — registered psychologist (50+ min)
$145.25
Medicare rebate per session — clinical psychologist (50+ min)
Up to 10 sessions a year with a GP Mental Health Treatment Plan. Seeing a psychiatrist with a GP referral also attracts a Medicare rebate — the amount depends on the appointment.
Current Medicare rebates (Medicare Benefits Schedule, 2025–26), indexed each 1 July. The rebate that applies to you depends on the appointment and how it’s billed; some providers bulk-bill (no gap), most charge a gap, and private health insurance generally doesn’t apply to these telehealth consultations. Rebates depend on your circumstances and are never guaranteed — your GP or Services Australia can confirm what you’re eligible for, and we’ll guide you through the referral.
Pricing you can understand up front
We believe you should be able to make a calm, informed decision. Each telehealth package below has a fixed, clearly stated price, so you know what you are paying for before you book.
There is no charge to book online and ask a question, and no obligation to proceed. If telehealth is not the right fit for you, we will tell you — at no cost.
How to choose the right package
The right package depends on who the assessment is for, what you already know, and what you want to do with the results. If you are unsure, book online and we will help you choose — you do not need to decide on your own.
Start with who it is for
Assessments for adults and for children or teens are structured differently, because the history we gather and the people we involve are different. Choose the package that matches the person being assessed.
Think about your goal
Some people want clarity on whether ADHD explains what they are experiencing. Others want a written outcome to share with a GP, school or workplace, or to move into treatment with a psychiatrist. Your goal helps us point you to the right option.
Consider what you already have
If you have a previous assessment, school reports or letters from other clinicians, that context can shape what you need. Mention it when you book and we will factor it in.
Ask if you are not sure
You are never expected to self-diagnose the right package. Tell us your situation when you book online and a person will help you find the option that fits.
What is included
Every package is designed to leave you with genuine clarity, not just an appointment. While the exact inclusions differ by package (see the cards above), they share the same foundations.
- A structured, psychologist-led clinical assessment by secure video.
- Review of the questionnaires and history you provide beforehand.
- A clear, plain-English outcome of the findings.
- A practical, next-step plan tailored to your situation.
- Where ADHD is identified, diagnosis and a treatment plan with a psychiatrist, and shared care with your GP.
- Telehealth from home, anywhere in Australia — no travel, no waiting rooms.
What is not included
Being clear about the limits is part of doing this properly. The following sit outside the assessment fee.
- A guaranteed diagnosis. Not everyone who is assessed will meet ADHD criteria, and the fee covers the assessment, not a particular outcome.
- Any guarantee of treatment or medication. Treatment is a clinical decision your psychiatrist may discuss with you only where appropriate, after a proper assessment — never promised, and ADHD prescribing in Australia is regulated and usually managed in shared care with your GP.
- Ongoing therapy or counselling sessions, unless arranged separately.
- Specialist reports for legal, court or third-party purposes beyond the standard written outcome.
- Fees charged by your GP for referrals or shared-care appointments, and any costs on an onward pathway outside your package.
Rebates, referrals and what you might get back
Depending on your individual circumstances, you may be able to claim a rebate on part of the cost. Rebates and funding depend on your situation and any referral you have, and they are not something we can confirm on your behalf.
We do not guarantee any rebate or amount, so please confirm your eligibility with your GP and the relevant provider before you book. The points below cover what is usually worth checking.
- A GP referral is usually needed to see a psychiatrist with a Medicare rebate — we will help you understand what is needed.
- Whether a Medicare rebate applies depends on your circumstances and any eligible referral — confirm with your GP.
- Private health extras cover varies by fund and policy — check directly with your insurer.
- We can tell you the items relevant to your assessment so you can ask the right questions.

Still deciding? A quick guide
If you are weighing up the options, these prompts point most people in the right direction. When in doubt, book online — we will help you choose, with no obligation.
The assessment is for an adult
Choose the adult assessment package. It is built around an adult history and day-to-day experiences at work, study and home.
The assessment is for a child or teen
Choose the child and teen package. It gathers input from a parent or carer and, with consent, from a school, alongside the young person.
I want a clear outcome I can share
Most packages include a plain-English outcome you can share with a GP, school or workplace. Tell us when you book who you plan to share it with so we include the right detail.
I genuinely do not know yet
That is completely fine. Book online and tell us what is going on. A person will help you understand your options before you commit to anything.

Not sure which package fits?
Book online and tell us your situation. We will help you choose the right option and explain exactly what it costs before you decide — all by telehealth, from home.
