Medicare rebates may be available for some eligible services depending on the service, the clinician, your referral and your individual circumstances — your GP or Services Australia can confirm what applies to you. Membership fees themselves are not a Medicare service.
How long does an ADHD assessment take?
The assessment runs across a small number of structured video appointments rather than one marathon session, with intake forms completed in your own time beforehand. Timeframes vary between people, so we don’t promise a fixed schedule.
What does the membership fee include?
Membership is built around your assessment pathway, treatment planning where clinically appropriate, and ongoing reviews with your Seen team. The finalised inclusions list is confirmed with you in writing before any payment is taken. Medication itself, pharmacy fees, pathology and appointments outside Seen are always billed separately.

Does a psychiatrist need a Victorian Schedule 8 permit for adult ADHD?
A psychiatrist can initiate stimulant treatment for an eligible adult with ADHD without a Schedule 8 permit when the Victorian exception conditions are met. Where a permit pathway is needed, your care team handles it — you don’t apply yourself.
Is a PBS authority the same as a Victorian Schedule 8 permit?
No. They do different jobs: a PBS authority relates to whether a medicine is subsidised, while the Victorian Schedule 8 permit relates to lawful prescribing of that medicine in Victoria. A prescription can involve one, both or neither depending on the situation.
Does SafeScript decide whether I can receive ADHD medication?
